The boards of the Classic range combine an EPS foam core with 2 marine wood stringers, an epoxy/fiberglass laminate, an HDPE slick on the lower part, and a foam blade on the deck. The result is an incredibly strong board. Thanks to their rigid constructions, the surfboards of the Classic range have good glide and allow rapid progress thanks to their evolving shapes that have been refined and improved for more than three years. We distinguish for each model of the Classic range, two versions:
Soft version : The boards of the soft version are coated with a foam called IXPE (“standard” foam), on which it is preferable to apply wax before each use, and are supplied with very reassuring soft fins (flexible plastic) ( see illustration).
The hybrid version: The boards of the hybrid version are coated with a foam called EVA ("hybrid" or "croco" foam), which has the advantage of being non-slip, wax is therefore not necessary because you will not slip . In addition, unlike the soft version, the fins provided are rigid fins, of the FCS type. The enclosures on these models are FCS 1 and FCS 2 compatible. This version allows for a higher level of performance.
The shapes are absolutely identical, regardless of the version chosen.
